Description- This department oversees the various clinical services provided to Brookline citizens. Services include child and adult immunizations, investigation, tracking and control of all communicable diseases, vaccine distribution to community health providers, blood pressure screening, tuberculosis (TB) skin testing, and lead testing for children. Furthermore, the Public Health Nurse participates in community health issues related to refugee health, foreign travel, health insurance, and domestic violence.

Upcoming and Regularly Scheduled events-

1.Child and Adult Immunizations- regularly by appointment

2. Lead Screening for Children- regularly by appointment

3. Tuberculosis (TB) Screening Clinic 

at the Health Department by appointment only



4. Blood Pressure Screening - FREE

Brookline Health Department, 11 Pierce St., 1st Wednesday, Every Month, 2-3pm

Brookline Senior Center, 93 Winchester St., 3rd Thursday, Every Month, 9-10:30 AM

Sussman House (50 Pleasant St.)- 2nd Wednesday of every month, 1-2pm

Temple Emeth (Putterham Circle, South Brookline)- 2nd Wednesday of every month 3-4pm

O'Shea House (61 Park St.)- 4th Wednesday of every month 1-2pm

5. Annual Flu Clinics - at multiple locations in October, and early November of each year

No one will be denied immunizations due to inability to pay.
