The Town of Brookline utilizes employees in many different occupations. Most of these positions are listed in the Classification and Salary Grade Plans.

Vacant positions are filled either through the Massachusetts Civil Service system or by direct recruitment and advertising. All positions that are not filled through the Massachusetts Civil Service system or by promotion are advertised on this website, the Brookline TAB, various publications with recognized circulation in minority communities, and other publications as appropriate for the particular position. Full Time

The Town of Brookline is seeking an enthusiastic lead teacher for its successful early childhood education program. Starting salary $15.49/hour. Candidates must have the following:

• Current standard first aid and CPR certification
• H.S. diploma or equivalent;
• Must have completed a three-credit course in Child Growth and Development
• 9 months work experience with preschool aged children of all abilities in a paid or volunteer position
• Strong leadership skills
• Valid drivers license
