Please be advised that in May 2006 Town Meeting adopted Article 3.20
of the General By-Laws. Article 3.20 requires Town Counsel to host a
mandatory training seminar covering the requirements of the State’s
Conflict of Interest Law and the Open Meeting Law. All elected or
appointed officials, elected or appointed after September 26, 2006 must
attend this seminar. Officials unable to attend should contact Town
Counsel to make other arrangements. A copy of the by-law can be obtained
at the Town Clerk’s Office or on-line at
http://www.townofbrooklinemass.com/Legal/bylaws.html (Refer to
Article 3.20). |
