1. Registration form required by applicant requesting permission to conduct yard/garage sale.

2. Form reviewed to determine whether or not proposed sale is to be conducted by:

a. owner/occupant of premises
b. dealer or other commercial entity

3. If sale to be conducted by owner/occupant, a copy of the application will be forwarded to the Chief of Police for his review and approval, with the understanding if any arrangements for traffic supervision need to be made, the applicant will make arrangements with the Police Department.

4.If a dealer is involved, the applicant would be required to obtain a secondhand dealer's license, an auctioneer license or estate sale permit.

YARD SALES MUST BE HELD ON PRIVATE PROPERTY

NOTE: IF APPLICANT IS NOT OWNER OF PREMISES, WRITTEN PERMISSION MUST BE OBTAINED FROM THE OWNER AND SUBMITTED TO THE SELECTMEN'S OFFICE WITH THE YARD SALE/GARAGE SALE APPLICATION.
