NOTICE TO TOWN MEETING MEMBERS:

On July 10, 2007 the Board of Selectmen voted to set the date for the Fall Special Town Meeting for Tuesday November 13, 2007 AT 7:00 P.M. in the High School Auditorium and to establish the opening and closing dates for the filing of articles for the warrant for said Town Meeting as follows:

Opening of Warrant Thursday August 2, 2007

Closing of Warrant Thursday August 30, 2007
(no later than 12:00 Noon)

Articles must be filed in the Selectmen’s Office and be accompanied by a statement of explanation of the same.
 

TO ALL TOWN MEETING MEMBERS:

Due to the relocation of Town Hall all warrant articles submitted for the
fall town meeting should be dropped off and time stamped at the Town
Clerk’s Office, which is located in the Health Center at 11 Pierce Street
-- lower level. Once signatures are verified original articles will then
be sent to the Selectmen’s Office for insertion in the warrant. It is
important that the name, phone number and e-mail address of the main
petition is listed on the article – thank you for your understanding and
patience during this process.
