Prevent – Protect – Prepare
|
The Metro Boston Homeland Security Region has developed a three-part
community awareness program outlining steps citizens can take to prevent
terrorism, help protect the community and prepare for any disaster.
The P3 Program is designed to be delivered in three one-hour modules by
police officers, firefighters and other government officials who have
been trained in preventing terrorism and protecting our community. The
program is intended for citizens, neighborhood associations, businesses,
civic groups, etc. The three modules cover: 1) an introduction to
terrorism, 2) how to recognize and report suspicious activity, and 3)
personal protection and preparedness.
Sergeant Michael Raskin and Officer Casey Hatchett of the Brookline
Police Department are trained to deliver this program. If you are
interested in attending one of their upcoming trainings or interested in
having them come to your community group or business to present, please
contact:
Michael_Raskin@town.brookline.ma.us or phone 617-730-2781.
