survey site has been created to help the planning department gather spatial and
attribute information of most favorite and least favorite places in town for the
comprehensive plan. Check it out and fill it out! You may win a beautiful Brookline Street
Atlas map!
* Newly updated public school districts and buffer
zones map is now available in our online map
library. You can also obtain a hard-copy map from us by sending in a request form.
*An interactive web-based tree
maintenance program is developed by CDM, Inc. and the implementation is in progress.

* The new precinct boundary maps are now available
in the Brookline GIS on-line Map
Library and the interactive
Brookline GIS Data Viewer. 04/20/2002.
* Black and white parcel maps in
8.5"x11" size are now available in Adobe PDF file format for download at www.brooklinetownhall.com/parmaps.
They are listed by the block numbers. 03/25/2002.
* The Assessor's Atlas 2001 book has been completed and all pages are
available online in the Map Library. Hard-copy books and CDs are also available for
purchase by the general public. See the Maps & Data Section for more information.
* The Town of Brookline has received "Special Achievement in GIS" award on July 12th, given
by Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI), Inc.
at its annual International User Conference in San Diego, California. This
conference was the biggest GIS conference in this country and more than 11,000 people from
all over the world attended this year.
