About the Program
Minutes in Motion is a 10-week team oriented fitness challenge open to active town and school employees. The goal of Minutes in Motion is to help make Brookline a healthier community by encouraging employees to exercise on a
regular basis. Minutes in Motion is a Brookline on the Move program presented by the Brookline Public Health, Town Human Resources and Brookline Recreation Departments.
Teams consisting of 8 – 10 employees will compete based on the average number of minutes exercised by team members each week. Prizes will be awarded to individuals on a weekly basis throughout the fitness challenge. Each week, one team, who's members have averaged the weekly goal, will be awarded the trophy for "Team of the Week" through a random drawing. The trophy will be passed around each week. A Team Grand Prize will be awarded at the end of the fitness challenge. For more information see the Rules and FAQ’s sections.
The Spring session of Minutes in Motion will run from April 2nd through June 10th.
