Description

This 34 hour class teaches you how to teach swimming to all ages and abilities, including babies, toddlers, preschoolers, school-age children, teens and
adults. The course includes information on teaching strategies, class management, activities, drills and integrated games. The swim instructor candidate
will also learn about: the Learn to Swim Progression Courses, Parent and Child Aquatics, Water Safety Classes and Water Safety Presentations. Included in
this class is the "Fundamentals in Training" (FIT) course, required of all American Red Cross Instructors. Prerequisites: WSI candidates must be at least16
years old and possess a minimum of American Red Cross Level 4 skills.
