The Brookline Recreation Department’s Soule Early Childhood Center (S.E.C.C.) strives to provide a safe and enriching environment. Our focus is on safety, comfort, health, and happiness of all the children. We do this by providing a warm, supportive, caring setting which encourages each child to develop socially, physically, emotionally, and intellectually at their own pace. The activities offered provide children with plenty of choice. A variety of educational materials and equipment provide fun and challenging choices that spark exploration, creativity and mastery of new skills. Children learn by doing as they interact with the planned classroom environment and with one another.
