Soule Early Childhood Center

Program Information

Soule Center

Registration begins on January 2, 2007 for the September 07 – June 08 school year for the Soule Early Childhood Center. The programs begin Tuesday September 4, 2007 and runs through June, 2008. The Center is open Monday – Friday from 8:00am – 6:00pm (following the Brookline Public Schools for inclement weather closures). The Center is closed for legal holidays and two staff professional development days. The Brookline Recreation Department’s  Soule Early Childhood Center strives to provide a safe and enriching environment. Our focus is on safety, comfort, health, and happiness of all the children. We do this by providing a warm, supportive, caring setting which encourages each child to develop socially, physically, emotionally, and intellectually at their own pace. The activities offered provide children with plenty of choice. A variety of educational materials and equipment provide fun and challenging choices that spark exploration, creativity and mastery of new skills. Children learn by doing as they interact with the planned classroom environment and with one another.

Applications are accepted on a first come- first serve basis for Brookline residents, until our quota is reached. All other applicants will be place on the Center’s waitlist for the 2007-2008 school year. For an application or to set up a tour of the Center, please call 617-739-7598.
